Welcome to Yellowknife! Enjoy your stay in this cozy 660 sq ft studio style of apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, one washroom, and a bedroom located on the ground floor of the house. It is located in the heart of downtown and a short walk to Yellowknife's many businesses including Federal and GNWT's buildings, restaurants, walking trails and main attractions. The space This compact unit space opens up to a fully equipped kitchen, then as you walk towards your extra comfortable foam mattress bed, you will notice a seating area with a couch, chair along with a table to sit on and work at. The living room has a beautiful leather sofa and a chair next to a foldable table that can be used as a dining table. There is netflix on the TV also. It is a private unit located on the ground floor of the house. The house is built around a rock, so the ground is raised and that's why the unit has a lower ceiling (for a 6ft + person). Other improtant things to consider are: The surrounding rock (and the fact that you are in the north) maks the floors feel a bit colder than other houses. Ask us for a heater if you need one. Some noise will permeats through the ceiling from the upper level unit. The building's residents observe and respect quiet enjoyment of premises. The unit has one windows overlooking the main street. Overall, the unit gives a warm, cozy feeling with hotel style furnishings. Your unit is on the main floor ( not upstairs) private with its own door and lock. You do not share your kitchen, living room or washroom with anyone. The washer/dryer is situated in a shared/common area.
