Located on a hill in the countryside above Oneonta, Sunset Ridge is less than 10 minutes to the downtown shopping and restaurant district and under 15 minutes to All-Star Village. The private driveway/parking area and entrance to the apartment make this space feel very secluded. Enjoy a beautiful view of the area's rolling hills from your own covered patio. Directly across the road, in view from the patio, is a local hops and barley farm, these crops are used throughout New York State to brew beer in small craft breweries. Outside seating and dining as well as a gas grill allows for more enjoyment of the outdoors. Once inside there is plenty of space for your group. A large open floor plan, kitchen, dining, and living area features a pool table and desk area. Even with the open floor plan, there is still privacy within the large open area, this space is well laid out for functionality. Your host is the son of a taxidermist and there are many examples of the art throughout the space. Take a moment and see if you can identify the various species represented! Off the main living are and down the hallway, you will find the bathroom with a tub/shower, and the 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and a twin, and the 2nd bedroom has a Queen bed and a twin. Each bedroom has its own SmartTv. If you are up for an adventure and fresh air, your host has nearly 3 miles of marked walking trails throughout the 70 acres of woods. Take a walk and enjoy allthe beauty of this hilltop location. You might even catch a glimpse of some whitetail deer or turkeys if you are quiet. *** Please note: Your host lives in the Main House upstairs, they are nearby if you need anything.
