Description

The "Kleine Kammer" is part of a more than 300-year-old, family-run thatched-roof house – a place full of history, tranquility and sea air. It covers two floors and offers country house flair with a large kitchen, low living room, two bedrooms. The furnishings are deliberately simple. Many pieces of furniture are antique or come from earlier decades – they preserve the original character of the house. The courtyard is lined with old fruit trees and roses – a retreat for nature lovers. The space The "Kleine Kammer" is not a classic vacation apartment, but a place with soul. If you love old houses, you will feel comfortable here. It creaks in some places, not everything is straight – but this house gives something that many miss: silence, the view of the sea and the feeling of having arrived. Inventory and furniture partly tell a long family history – much has been deliberately preserved, as befits an old farmhouse. The apartment is particularly suitable for people who appreciate tranquility, nature and originality. For those who like to walk barefoot through the garden, jump into the sea in the morning and consciously enjoy the small – and perhaps most important – things in life. If you are like that, then I am very happy to share this special place that I love from the bottom of my heart with you. Guest access Your private terrace: A sheltered retreat directly under old fruit trees – overlooking the sea. Perfect for breakfast in the countryside, a book in the afternoon or a glass of wine at sunset. The swimming area: In the summer months, beach chairs await you for free use – with direct access to the Rügen Bodden. The courtyard: Our beautiful garden with roses and fruit trees can be shared – to linger, read or simply to breathe. Please understand that the other two apartments in the house can also be occupied. However, all guests enjoy their own outdoor area, so privacy is maintained. Special highlight for animal lovers: During the summer months, our two horses Ronja and Torin graze on the farm. When they come to you, you can stroke them – but please do not feed them. Other things to note The Kleine Kammer is one of three apartments in the old farmhouse. The living room has a low ceiling height (about 1.95 m) with a traditional clay ceiling – this is how the living room used to be kept warm. Unfortunately, we were unable to preserve the original wooden floor. It was replaced by a simple, easy-care covering. The house has character – and like many old houses its own scent: a bit like an old book or an attic full of stories. If you are sensitive to this, you should take this into account. All around you will find pure nature and a special location: a large courtyard with old fruit trees and fragrant roses invites you to linger. The swimming area with beach chairs is just a few steps away. The port of Lauterbach with restaurants, fish sales, boat rental and Rasender Roland is easily accessible on foot or by bicycle. The cultural town of Putbus with its theater, castle park and cafés is also not far away – as is the bus and train station.
