The Homestead boasts three double bedrooms and a whimsical bunk room that sleeps four, providing ample space for your perfect getaway. Picture yourself unwinding in the light-filled spaces, gazing through mountain-facing windows or taking in the beauty of the Great Dividing Range from the sprawling deck or magnesium pool. The laundry is equipped with a new Miele washing machine and dryer, an ironing board, and an iron. Please note there is a section of unsealed road that has kangaroo’s so please drive carefully. We also have approximately resident kangaroos 🦘 that congregate on the homestead grounds every morning and late afternoon, if you look closely you may also see a baby joey in the pouch! 😍 We also ask that guests check the fire danger rating on bom gov au qld fire-danger-ratings (just search the above) Once you can see the report, look up Wide Burnett. The Retreat is located in the Wide Bay Burnett region If there is anything more than moderate showing then the fire pit is unfortunately not to be used, due to bush fire danger.
