In the privileged view of Alto de Ondina, there is the Governor's official residence (Palácio de Ondina) and Salvador's Zoobotanical Park. BARRA is the most beautiful neighborhood in the city, not only for its natural beauty but also for its history. Full of events, shops, cafes, squares, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, monuments and historical heritage sites, it is part of the official Carnival circuit. It has a waterfront for sports and beautiful urban beaches. You can do everything on foot. It has a unique geographic location, where it is possible to see both the sunrise and sunset over the sea, applauded daily in Porto da Barra by its regulars. In RIO VERMELHO, nightlife is bustling! It is Salvador's bohemian neighborhood and where the best of Bahia's nightlife is. It has the largest cluster of nightclubs, restaurants, bars, squares and plazas close to each other, allowing you to do everything on foot. It's a great place to go when you're not sure what to do. You can follow the movement of each place and, if one does not please you, just walk a little further and something interesting will soon emerge. In CAMPO GRANDE, we have a beautiful park with centenary trees and an excellent leisure space, with monuments and historic buildings all around. It is in a dynamic cultural center close to theaters, museums and associations. Largo do Campo Grande has become the starting point of the most traditional circuit of the Carnival of Salvador. It is also the site of major popular demonstrations in the city, in addition to hosting events such as the Antiques Fair, among many others. Salvador's HISTORIC CENTER is pulsating! It is home to Pelourinho, the colorful and musical neighborhood that has enough attractions for two or more days of sightseeing. It is listed as a National and Humanity Heritage Site and houses museums, squares, churches and tourist attractions that please everyone. Not to mention the shows, cultural activities, events and gastronomy, which leave its slopes full of visitors all year round.
