The renovation was completed in 2023, so guests are now welcome! The house is located between Djursdala and Locknevi on a small road that is very little used. The lake is a 10-minute walk, the rowboat (see picture!) that can be used, is a 20-minute walk. You can also drive there by car. In addition to the rowboat, there are also two kayaks that can also be used! However, these must be transported from the shed to the lake and back. With roof racks and lashing straps no problem, with the hand trailer on site also possible. In summer you can use the large garden - there are a total of 3,200 sqm. A terrace, garden furniture, fireplace and barbecue are available! The garden area is fenced dog-safe. A ping-pong table is also available. In winter, you can trudge through high snow, and then make yourself comfortable in front of the large, cozy tiled stove. About the house: On the ground floor there is a spacious entrance area that also suits a family or a small group. From there you get to the kitchen, which invites you to cook, eat together and chat. From the kitchen you can go into the spacious dining and living area, where you can sit comfortably in the evening and play board games, or on whose sofas you can cuddle and watch an exciting movie. The two ceiling-high, typical Swedish tiled stoves bring a lot of atmosphere! On the ground floor there is also an electric guest toilet that leads off from the hallway. Upstairs are a total of three bedrooms and the bathroom with shower. The first bedroom offers generous space, with a double bed, a seating area and a wardrobe as well as a clothes rail. Here, too, there is a tiled stove that guarantees a cozy atmosphere! Another smaller bedroom is also equipped with a double bed, a wardrobe and a clothes rail. Next to it there is a small bedroom with a 1.20 m wide bed, which should be large enough for two children if necessary. The bathroom is quite large and has a shower, toilet and sink. The washing machine is also here. Other: Vimmerby, the birthplace and residence of Astrid Lindgren, is about a 15 km drive. There, the Astrid Lindgren World invites children and adults to experience the wonderful characters of childhood. There is also an Astrid Lindgren Museum. Of course, a moose park is not far, about a 40 km drive, then you can feed the big animals! To the sea - preferably to Västervik - drive about 35 minutes.
