"La clementina" is an apartment on two floors characterized by beautiful floors with original cement tiles from the early twentieth century, large spaces with diffused light and happy plants. The essential but refined furnishings enhance the rooms and make them welcoming. The apartment is located on the second floor of a building located in a very convenient area for visiting the city: it is a few steps from the Capo market and a few minutes walk from the Teatro Massimo and the Teatro Politeama. The space The apartment can accomodate from one up to five people and depending on the number of people one or more bedrooms will be made available. The apartment offers on the first floor: a large, bright and comfortable double room with balcony overlooking the main street, a passage room with sitting area, a small bathroom with shower, a comfortable and spacious kitchen with balcony and a beautiful and bright room with futon sofa bed, dining table and a balcony. The kitchen and the room with sofa overlook a small road that leads to the garden of Villa Filippina, an urban villa where various interesting events and a farmers' market are hosted on Saturday mornings. Going up the stairs you access the second level where there is a comfortable bathroom with shower, two rooms connected to each other and a small terrace. The first room is a sitting room with a work table and a comfortable armchair that overlooks the terrace. The terrace is sheltered from the wind and sunny at lunch time. The bedroom, on this second level, has the wooden roof typical of attics even if it is not an attic and it is perfectly possible to stand normally in every part of it. The room has a comfortable double bed, it's quiet and it has a window overlooking the internal stairs of the building. From the apartment you can't hear noises from bars and clubs (only occasionally there are evenings with music in the garden of Villa Filippina). ** We have recently renewed the bathroom of the first floor, installed a double glazing window in the big bedroom on the first floor and solved the issue we had in the past with the water supply.** The apartment can comfortably accommodate up to five (the futon sofa has a width of 120 cm). Upon request it is possible to add a bed for infant. We personally restored the apartment and its furniture, chosen its plants (which we wish will be more and more!): every detail has its value and we hope that those who stay will take care of everything as if it were their own home.
