Welcome to our cozy ranch home on Dixie Lane in a quiet south side neighborhood! This home is charming and comfortable whether you are traveling alone, with others, for business or pleasure, you will love this for your home away from home. It’s equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Stay in for a movie or game night or venture out to enjoy all the fun things Pontiac has to offer. The backyard patio offers a semi-private, fenced in space for a relaxing, hot tub soak or enjoying your morning tea/coffee or evening beverage of your choice. The hot tub is open year round! The master bedroom offers a King bed with a green tea memory foam mattress for a perfect night’s sleep. It has a renovated bathroom with a beautiful waterfall shower supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and other necessities. Spacious closet room and a 55 inch smart TV. The second bedroom offers a Queen green tea memory foam mattress, ample closet space, and a half bath. The open living room/dining room area offers a 65 inch smart TV, laptop friendly workspace, comfy sectional, board and card games, and oak dining table with room for up to six guests. The cute kitchen is equipped with cooking necessities for making your favorite meal. The washer/dryer is off the kitchen with laundry supplies, iron, and ironing board, beach towels and remote for the hot tub. You will have access to the entire home, front and side yards, and fenced in back yard. The garage is attached to the home, but not available for parking due to the location of the water softener. The roll up garage door must remain shut. However, the garage is the means for journeying out the kitchen door to the back patio for a relaxing soak in the hot tub! The 12 x 12 unit out back is locked for maid storage as well as one closet in the master bedroom. We will be available during your stay and can be contacted through the Airbnb app. This really is a quiet neighborhood and not a lot of street traffic. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the downtown area that holds cute gift stores, coffee/donut shops, restaurants, museums, parks, summer splash pad, and winter ice rink. It is also a short walking distance, including a stroll over a swinging bridge, to the Chautauqua park. You are welcome to park on the driveway and street parking is also allowed. There is no available Uber or Lyft in Pontiac, but there is a cab service. There is lots to do within walking distance! For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external security camera located at the front door. There are a couple of short steps to enter the front of the home, and again out the back door into the garage. We offer a Queen air mattress for extra guests upon request or with bookings for more than four people. The large closet for your use in the front hallway holds a boot tray for your shoes, a highchair, and a pack n play for little ones. You will also find a vacuum cleaner and broom with dust pan for any messes you might need to clean up. Smoking is only allowed outdoors. No smoking inside the home or garage. Please dispose of properly.
