One of Munising's historic homes was beautifully renovated and has been renting to guests for years through other 3rd party sites and direct booking. We thought it was time to add it to AirBnb! "Doc's Place" spacious, upscale and immaculately maintained, 4 large bedrooms & 2 full baths, Our cabins have their own website just search hiawathashideaway to find it! :) The space Doc's place has 4 roomy bedrooms - 3 with a queen bed each and the 4th with 2 twin beds. All have luxury bedding. There are 2 portable twin beds upstairs, a queen sofa sleeper downstairs and a single daybed in the sunroom for additional guests (11 max). Two bathrooms, 1 on the main floor and 1 upstairs where the bedrooms are located. The kitchen is upscale with stainless steel appliances and quality cookware. Large dining table for family meals and games. Large living room with large flatscreen tv, comfortable furnishings, sunroom with tables and chairs for morning coffee/breakfast and additional seating. A washer and dryer is included in the entry mudroom for your use. Enjoy outside on the patio or deck for evening drinks and watching the sun go down. We are centrally located in Munising for all of your outdoor activities! We are within walking distance of bayshore park, farmers market, pictured rocks cruises, lake shore bike path, pier fishing, coffee shop, pottery shop, ice cream, books, gifts, fudge, restaurants, churches and much, much more! There is a fully equipped guest cottage that is next door and and can be rented separately to accommodate additional guests. Holidays may require longer stays, please inquire. Attention winter guests - This is a great place in town for ice climbers, crossing country skiers and snowshoers (close to Valley Spur trails), and winter relaxation! Snowmobilers are also welcome, however please note we have limited parking (4 vehicles max) and no room for any type of trailer. You will have to find parking for your trailers. Base rate is for 8 guests. More than 8 guests, add on additional fees. Guest access You have access to the entire house except the locked supply room.
