Enjoy complete privacy while still being within easy driving distance of Houston and surrounding communities. The house features spacious living areas, comfortable accommodations, 4 bedrooms, 2 other rooms for sleeping, and 3 bathrooms all connected to a bedroom. Our property includes: * Private gated ranch * Long scenic driveway * Views of grazing cattle * Scenic waterfront views * Catch & release fishing lake with a covered dock * Fenced in swimming pool * Child amenities (crib, cutlery, highchair, toys) * Propane grill, tank provided * Outdoor dining * Outdoor seating for lounging * Outdoor fire pit * Breathtaking sunset views * Star gazing * Lasting memories Guest access * The entire house * Pool area * Extensive yard * Lake shoreline and pier for catch & release fishing and viewing. (We do not provide fishing gear and tackle) * Marked trails throughout the property that are within the house's open yard **While guests are welcome to enjoy the designated areas of the ranch, not all 200 acres are accessible. Portions of the property are actively used for cattle grazing and ranch operations and are not open to guest access.** LAKE ADVISORY: * The lake is not fenced and is directly adjacent to the house's yard, providing easy access from the outdoor areas. Guests are responsible for exercising caution and supervising children at all times while outdoors. * Swimming, boating, and other water activities in the lake are not permitted. *IMPORTANT ARRIVAL INFORMATION* CATTLE GUARDS: * The entrance gate to the property is located on a cattle guard. Guests should use caution when opening and closing the gate and watch their footing carefully. We recommend that a capable adult handle gate operations. PASTURE CROSSING: * Access to the home requires driving through an active cattle pasture. You may encounter a herd of cattle and seasonal calves along the roadway. Please remain inside your vehicle while crossing the pasture, drive slowly, and allow livestock plenty of space. Do not honk, approach, feed, or otherwise interact with the animals. LONG PRIVATE DRIVEWAY: * The home is located well off the main road, providing exceptional privacy and seclusion. Once inside the property, you will travel down a long private driveway before reaching the house. Other things to note POOL DETAILS: * For safety purposes, the pool fence remains installed by default. Guests are responsible for supervising children around the pool area at all times. * The pool is not heated. POOL MAINTENANCE: * Pool maintenance is typically scheduled on Thursdays or Fridays. Service visits are usually brief and designed to minimize disruption to your stay. In some cases, swimming may be temporarily restricted following service to allow for proper chemical balancing. POOL TOWELS: *We provide bath towels for indoor use only and do not provide dedicated pool towels. If you plan to use the pool, please bring your own pool towels. *Do not use bath towels to clean spills, floors, mud, or outdoor areas. A mop is available for any cleanup needs. RURAL LOCATION: * Our property is located in a peaceful rural setting, perfect for a private getaway. Roads can be very dark at night, and we strongly recommend arriving before sunset whenever possible, especially for first time visitors. You will also not want to miss the breathtaking view of the sunset. * As with most countryside properties, you may encounter insects, spiders, snakes, fire ants, wasps and other wildlife despite regular pest control service. * Cell phone service may be limited depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available, though speeds may vary from what you are accustomed to in the city. * Nearby stores and restaurants require a short drive, so we recommend bringing any groceries, beverages, or personal items you may need during your stay. WORKING CATTLE RANCH: * This property is located on an active working cattle ranch. During your stay, you may rarely see ranch hands, trucks, tractors, trailers, or equipment traveling through portions of the property while performing normal ranch operations. * For your safety, guests should not feed, pet, chase, attempt to ride, approach, or otherwise interact with livestock. Please observe animals from a safe distance only. FIRE PIT: * Guests are welcome to enjoy the fire pit during their stay. Fires must be attended at all times and completely extinguished before leaving the area or retiring for the evening. * We recommend to bring your own firewood.
