Relax with the whole family in this lovely interior designed country home. Enjoy the views while relaxing in the sunshine or cosying up by the Woodburner. Maybe a stroll to the river to watch the stars from the firepit area. Steps into the river for a paddle or plunge! Country bliss guaranteed. The space Porthyrhyd is a beautiful traditional Georgian farmhouse. She has been recently fully redecorated with a modern cottage scheme. With the benefit of a modern lovely kitchen extension, traditional lounge with wood burning stove. Single bedroom, down stairs, set up with toys and Lego perfect for the kids to enjoy. Porthyrhyd has been renovated to an energy rating B so has excellent insulation and air source heating,so lovely and cosy all year round. Temperature set to 18 degrees but adjustable to your needs. There is the benefit of a modern ground floor wet room and single bedroom. A king, double and single (twin additional cost) on the first floor, with another bathroom ( with bath ) and separate WC. We are more then happy to take young children but we do not provide high chairs, cots, stair gates etc.Please consider this prior to booking. There is a fabulous large garden backing on the the river ceri. We live next door, the house is separated by a double panelled wall from the kitchen the house is totally private and sound proofed. The garden is a fabulous sun trap set in a valley, for all day sunshine. The garden is 3/4 of an acre and has a stream running through the bottom, great for kids and grown ups to explore. The garden is yours to enjoy, though it is shared with our property and we have access to tend to our chickens and ducks. We have a lovely Friendly whippet cross, who uses the garden so no anti social or aggressive dogs please. If your dog is not used to chickens and ducks, we would suggest keeping them on a lead, as they are fenced but do like to escape on occasion. Brongest is a picture postcard village, quiet and peaceful but with the benefit of being less than fifteen minutes from a handful of stunning beaches and fabulous walks and places to eat. Pembrokeshire is an easy drive as well as the gorgeous coast road to beautiful aberystwyth stopping at scenic Aberaeron on route. Guest access There is a fabulous garden that is yours to use for your stay, we have shared access to look after our chickens but make it feel your own. large out foor table and sofa by the house. Sitting in the wild garden by the river. A lovely traditional lounge with wood burner and dinning table. A separate single downstairs bedroom, perfect for those that struggle with stairs or for the kids to enjoy, complete with a selection of games and Lego. Three bedrooms to choose from on the first floor. A master with king size bed, a double bedroom and single bedroom with two singles ( trundle bed) trundle set up on request. We can also supply a memory foam put up bed at your request, to use where needed ( at a small additional charge). So 8 people maximum ( additional charge). Porthyrhyd also features a down stairs wet room and upstairs Bathroom with bath and shower and separate wc. Other things to note Brongest DOES NOT HAVE PHONE SIGNAL, common in rural Wales but the Internet is high speed and you can enable WIFI calling on your mobile phone. PLEASE SAVE the welcome info as you will need to check in before you can connect to the Internet. There is not a washing machine at the property but a local laundry within 10 minutes, if needed. we are next door if ever any issue. Also if you have a large family gathering see our sister cottage Porthfach, sleeps two adults.
