Fully self-contained with own kitchenette and bathroom. This is the end attached bedroom of our family home, with own separate entry via lock box. Rural lifestyle but only 5 minutes from town. We have a host of animals to check out - friendly family dog, pony, donkeys, highland cow, rabbits and chickens. Relax and unwind in your air-conditioned room, by the pool or in the spa - the choice is yours. Close to Waitomo Caves, good stop off on way to Mt Ruapehu and 45 mins from Hamilton. The space Fully self-contained and although part of the house, it is at one end and the space including studio (bedroom/lounge/dining), bathroom and kitchenette is solely yours with your own separate entrances (back door and front ranch slider) to come and go as you please. Parking for 1 x car, right outside ranchslider access. Plus ample extra parking for trailer, boat, stockcar, campervan etc... Suitable bedding for 2 Adults and 2 Children - Queen bed plus Double sofa bed in same space (not separate bedroom) As mentioned the room is at the far end of our house, we have 3 kids so the surroundings are used by them. Please bear this in mind... if looking for a romantic getaway for example may not be ideal haha. You are welcome to share our pool, spa (6 person), fire pit area and BBQ etc. And there are plenty of animals around - our friendly young Black Lab Hunter, Rosa the Highland cow and her other mates, Belle the pony with her two donkey brothers Pablo and Pedro, who love carrots. A selection of breakfast cereals and milk plus a small loaf of sourdough bread and selection of spreads is provided for breakfast. Here's a quick room-by-room rundown so you know what you do/don't need to bring... KITCHEN - Microwave - 2 burner cooktop - Mini fridge with small icebox - Plates, cups, cutlery etc - Pots and pans - Electric jug - Toaster - Tea towels, dishcloths etc - Tea (normal, herbal), Coffee, Milo - Cereal, milk and toast provided - Dishwash and hand soap BATHROOM - Shower only (No bath) - Vanity and large mirror - Toilet in bathroom (not separate) - Hand soap provided - Bodywash, shampoo and conditioner provided - Towels, Hand towels and flannels provided STUDIO - BEDROOM/LOUNGE/DINING (Studio set up, no separate bedroom) - Queen bed with all linen - Bedside table and lamps - Double pullout couch with bedding provided if Children using this - TV with Freeview (not a smart TV) - DVD player and selection of DVD's - Small selection of books (many more on a selection of topics available on request) - Dining table and 4 chairs - Heatpump - No wardrobe/coat hangers Unfortunately no access to laundry facilities (washing or drying), however we have 2 x laundromats in Otorohanga which is only 5 minutes away Guest access Bedroom/lounge (studio set-up not seperate bedroom), bathroom and kitchenette. You are welcome to share our pool, spa, fire pit area and BBQ etc Other things to note If you are visiting the Waitomo Caves I suggest you pre-book before you arrive as we often have guests not able to get a booking for say the following day otherwise.
