Guest suite in Royal Oak

We have a cat, Commander Muffins. While he won't be in your space while you're with us (& is rarely there otherwise), if you have animal allergies, this is likely not the best place for you. A short drive to downtown Royal Oak, Ferndale, Birmingham, and also to fabulous & historic Detroit. The space You'll enter through your own private entrance at the side of our single family home, and take the interior stairs down to the bright & cheery newly renovated basement studio. Prepare to be snug and comfy in your new happy place! Complete with - kitchenette (sink, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, & hot plate), - living area with couch & recliner and 50" Roku TV, - cozy sleeping alcove with a 32" Roku TV and a twin daybed that opens to a king, - full bath with walk-in shower and heated floor, - laundry access. The space is perfect for 1 or 2, but can accommodate up to 4 people with the provided pair of twin inflatable mattresses and a comfy (for children) rollaway. Guest access You'll have exclusive access to the basement studio, and use of the basement laundry room (which we won't use while you're staying with us). Our private patio/backyard is fully fenced and lined with flower beds. Find a seat on the patio and spend some time enjoying the fresh air and peaceful sounds of our neighborhood. Or come around to the front and enjoy a drink or a snack on our covered front porch, complete with ceiling fan! Other things to note 4 person max --extra $25 per adult beyond 3. No extra charge for kids 14 and under. 1-3 local friends/family are welcome to spend time with you in our space but please no extra over-nighters and no parties. Please respect our quiet neighborhood and our own quiet hours (11 pm - 7 am). Free on-street parking. 1.5 miles from Corewell (Beaumont) Hospital - Royal Oak. Smudge the dog does like to spend time in the back yard. If you'd prefer that he not share the yard with you, just let us know and we'll keep him elsewhere.
