Järvsö and close to nature with 12+4 beds.

Welcome to our favorite place for socializing - Edänge 61 located 11 km from Järvsö (about 15 minutes to the slopes) and 7 km from Ljusdal. We like guests and want you to feel at home. The spacious villa was originally built in 1920 and is situated in an elevated location with a nice view of Hybosjön. The accommodation is suitable for up to three families and is close to Järvsöbacken and Hälsingland's beautiful nature. Warm welcome to Edänge 61 - a house to enjoy! The space The size and charm are what is outstanding about the house. We often live 3 families with children at the same time, which has worked fine. The beds are a combination of three double beds (6 beds in total) and three family beds (counted as 6 beds in the advertisement. Family bed has a wider bed at the bottom, which means that we often slept 2 in the lower bed, i.e. in total you can sleep 9 people in these family beds). There are also two sofa beds, one of which is a simpler model (one in the basement and one on the ground floor, i.e. a total of 4 beds) which of course can be used. In total, we usually sleep 14 people in the mentioned beds, but have then combined an adult and a child in the lower bed in the family beds. The kitchen is spacious and complete and has a door for direct access to the balcony. The proximity to nature and leisure activities creates conditions for an active life. Storage facilities for ski and bicycle equipment are available, which allows storage between rides. Wood-fired sauna and an outdoor kitchen (charcoal grill) overlooking the lake. Our things are still in the house. If there's anything you need that we have there, of course you can borrow it. Make yourselves at home but make sure to restore everything as it was when you arrived, so we recognize ourselves when we come next time. Cleaning is done by a cleaning company and is included in the rent for rental periods of a full week (7 days) or more. For shorter rental periods, you buy cleaning or clean yourself and make sure that the house is in the same good condition as when you arrived. Edängevägen 61 - a place for well-being, socializing and activity, simply! Guest access Guests have access to all areas except the garage, which is under renovation. We leave our things in the house. It is ok to borrow the things that are in the rental parts of the house but please put them back so we recognize them the next time we come. The things we want for ourselves are stored in the space clearly marked "private." The refrigerator is empty except for accessories. In the pantry, we have emptied a couple of shelves for our guests. Otherwise, just go ahead. Other things to note Minimum rental period is 3 days. Very nice and helpful neighbors are included in the purchase. Wood for the sauna and fireplace is available under the benches in the sauna. It can be nice to light a fire and take a sauna right when you get up and we therefore offer firewood for the first evening. For the remaining days, the guest acquires his own firewood. The water is shared with the neighbor and comes from a spring in the forest. It's good to remember not to flush water unnecessarily. The pressure in the showers is lower than usual as it is based on self-pressure from the source. The heat is controlled from the rock heat pump in the "boiler room" in the basement. Since the house is from the 1920s, it is not completely airtight and the windows are of 2-glass type. When the temperature creeps down to -20 outdoors, you may find that the temperature is lower in the house than you normally have at home. Nothing that has affected us negatively, but good to know. We usually make a fire in the stove when it's cold outside. Fiber is installed in the house and WiFi access is available. If something unexpected happens, we would be grateful if you would contact us immediately. If something breaks, it will of course be fixed at your expense and in the most cost-effective way possible. Before action is taken, we must be contacted for approval of the action. Cleaning of the house is included in the rent when renting for a full week (7 days) or longer. In these cases, we ask that you "roughly clean" the house before check-out. Empty the house of garbage and restore it to how it looked before you arrived. Recycling bins are at the bottom of the pantry in the kitchen. Recycling bins must be emptied before departure (recycling stations are located in Ljusdal and Järvsö). When renting for a period shorter than a week, you clean the house yourself unless otherwise agreed. If you like houses with built-in charm, you, like us, will really appreciate the accommodation. If, on the other hand, you are looking for a state-of-the-art, sleek and white minimalist haven, you should look elsewhere :-)
