Carpe Diem on Lake James private lakefront oasis

Welcome to my new construction home nestled in a quiet cove on Lake James. This mountain/lake oasis is set on a sprawling 1.5 acre waterfront estate and is a haven for those looking for all the comforts and amenities of a 5-star resort. Perfect for those looking to enjoy all the beauty and adventure awaiting in this mountain and lake retreat. While I often escape to this sanctuary for personal retreats, I believe in sharing its beauty with guests. The space Carpe Diem is a new construction custom home in the Enclave development at Lake James. The arts and crafts style home is thoughtfully decorated and has every amenity you could imagine. You'll find spacious interiors that are well thought out for hanging out as a family or getting away for some quiet downtime. The main floor hosts the well-appointed kitchen, dining area, family room, powder bath and the primary suite. In the kitchen, you'll find double Bosch ovens as well as a Wolf induction cooktop and all of the cooking utensils you will ever need. The large island is a centerpiece of the space with a unique leather finished granite. The dining area seats 10 guests comfortably around a modern walnut table. If you choose to dine outside you'll be able to do so on the decks overlooking the mountains. The family room seats many comfortably with a sectional and 3 chairs with foot rests. Just outside of the front door you'll find a porch bed as well as a fire pit just waiting to warm you up on those chilly fall nights. The primary suite has a king bed, attached bathroom (with a mountain view) and is an oasis in itself. The bathroom features a free-standing slipper tub as well as a massive walk-in shower with multiple sprays. Upstairs you'll find two guest bedrooms. The queen bedroom has its own workspace should you need to check in with the office while on vacation. Across the hall you'll find an additional king bedroom as well. Just outside of both bedrooms is a shared full bath with double sinks and the same multi-spray shower. Additionally, there is a loft area where you can relax with a book or get cozy in one of two twin beds. The walk-out basement houses the game room including foosball and air hockey, some children's games and toys and a full-sized fridge, microwave and ice maker. You'll also find a 4th bedroom with two full bunks and a single trundle bed. There's a dedicated full bath here as well. Just outside of the game room you'll find an upscale BullFrog hot tub waiting to relax all of your cares away. You can wander down the winding path to the lake and sunbathe on the upper dock or jump in the water on the lower dock. Both are private and for your use exclusively. The dock faces southwest and is an excellent place to watch the sunset. It's my favorite place to be at the "golden hour".
