The space Our Mazot is a typical Savoyard mazot of yesteryear that traditionally designated a small rustic stone and wood farmhouse consisting of a bedroom, a cellar and a kitchen. This type of dwelling was originally used as a pied-à-terre for shepherds and their families working in the mountains. Today, the latter has been renovated with a spirit that combines tradition and comfort. Nestled in the heart of the Toussuire resort, and a few steps from the center of it... Le Mazot, totally independent, can accommodate 2 people. It thrives in the heart of nature, respecting the latter, to offer you the best of the Mountain in an eco-responsible approach. To preserve this environment, we are committed to reducing, recycling and reusing. This approach is expressed first of all by the choice of noble materials, preferably of local origin; our roofs are adorned with larch from our forests, the stones of our walls come from Haute-Maurienne. The decoration of our Chalets, in the purest Savoyard spirit, gives pride of place to antique and restored furniture and objects, in order to give them an extra soul but also to give them a second life. We are pleased to offer you personalized cozy slippers, a range of body care products with shower gel, shampoo, and moisturizing cream made in Haute-Savoie, always in accordance with our eco-responsible approach, which is to favor short circuits. Let yourself be carried away by this timeless concept. A "feet in the snow" experience that awaits you! Built away from the main house, these Lilliputian chalets once served as a safe... THE SPACE & ITS SURROUNDINGS Le Mazot is 400 meters from the resort center and the start of the slopes, the first supermarket is less than 100 meters away. The "Le Mazot" Suite, with an area of about 30 m², consists of a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a toilet, a mezzanine bedroom with a 160 cm bed, and a nice little terrace with mountain views. All close to the main chalet "Le Carnotzet". BEDDING & LINEN Sheets and linens are included in the price of your rental (you can contact us at the time of booking if you have specific requests about this). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If you want to rent for more than 8 people, be aware that Le Hameau du Carnotzet offers you the Chalet "Le Carnotzet" (8 people), the Chalet "La Bèla Via" (8 people) & the Suite "Le Mazot" (2 people). A security deposit of €1,000 will be required. The cleaning fee is €90 in addition to the price of your rental. For your information, we rent the mazot only during the winter periods, by the week from Saturday to Saturday OR for stays of 3 nights minimum. Thank you for your understanding.
