Camp Sherman - Ultimate Adventure Basecamp

Our rustic 1 bed/bath log cabin (plus loft, sleeps 6) is the ultimate high country basecamp for adventure whether it's fishing gold-medal waters, bagging 14ers, ripping singletrack on a mountain bike, skiing, exploring the rich mining history of Park County or enjoying the hustle and bustle of Breckenridge. And how do you let that jam-packed adventure day ring out? With a cook-out and a glass of wine on the spacious deck, a game of horseshoes and a few roasted marshmallows under the Milky Way. The space Being off-the-grid in an authentic log cabin on 10 acres of undisturbed forest allows for a unique and deep connection to nature and a simpler way of life. Camp Sherman is powered by solar with its own well, twice-filtered pure drinking water, indoor plumbing and gas. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook a gourmet meal (sorry no microwave) or enjoy a morning coffee (French press) on the porch swing or in Adirondack rocking chairs. As much as we love the coziness of a roaring fire in the fireplace, we also appreciate a good movie and solid WiFi. Starlink is in the house. Modern tech made it possible, so you get to enjoy both the solitude of the setting, along with tech-enabled creature comforts of WiFi and Netflix. The entire South Park Valley has been designated as a Natural Heritage Center due to it's rich mining and pioneer history. It's also unique in that the valley floor is at 10,000 feet, which makes for great daytime temperatures when the city is roasting. Camp Sherman itself is situated at 10,200 ft, which is the lowest part of the Valley of the Sun. Guest access The entire cabin. Plus 10 acres. Other things to note In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adjusted our cleaning protocols. All frequently used hard surfaces are being disinfected with a bleach solution after each check-out. Hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial soap, bleach spray, and disinfecting wipes are available for all guests on site.
