River Island Bell Tent Camping

Get out on the scenic Allegheny River to our private island! Sleep in the 13 ft. canvas bell tent on the riverside. Listen to the sweet river sounds and experience a part of the PA WILDS. This site is located on the South West edge of Fuellhart Island. This private island is located on the Allegheny River in Tidioute, PA. On one side of the island you are looking at the Allegheny National Forest. Book trips with family/friends - or get outside solo in a primitive and peaceful area. The space The bell tent can be set up to accommodate your sleeping arrangements! Your options are to fit two queen beds or a queen and two single air mattresses to fit 4 people. You are able to bring your own sleeping gear and arrangement if you would like! Otherwise, let us know how we can set the tent up for you to suit your needs! We can use a combination of air mattress and cots. At this site, you are able to bring one other tent as well. All campsites are spread out around the island to ensure privacy. You can book two sites for group camping or look at renting the whole island and cabin privately Guest access Guests are permitted a private parking space, use of communal area, electric, toilet, kitchen, running water and outdoor shower. The price includes garbage removal and propane for the outdoor shower and grill at the communal area During your stay I follow your lead! You can paddle into the bell tent site after reserving. The site will be set to your needs before hand. Firewood is available for purchase at the main cabin if you need. Wood can be staged at site for you beforehand as well. If you are reserving day of then we will bring items to you as you arrive - this option is for paddlers coming in directly off river at the last minute. If you need assistance, we are happy to help with logistics for your river trip! Other things to note Located on Fuellhart Island This site is located along the river so please take note of water flow and height! Inside the tent will have side tables, lighting An outdoor table will be available for use at this site Kayak rentals available at main cabin via Paddle Moor Co. Firewood for purchase at main cabin Wine and bottle service can be added onto this site with pre-planning upon reservation.
