Our property is situated in a small and friendly neighbourhood of Elizabeth Town, in between Launceston to the South East & Devonport to the North. The cabin's unique yet safe and quiet location offers magnificent views of the Great Western Tiers and Mount Roland. It’s not just a stay… it’s an experience ✨ The space If you are looking for a simple and relaxing get away, a family holiday or a romantic retreat, Paradise at Prout is the perfect place for you. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, relaxing yet fun, enjoyable and memorable stay with us. Please let us know how we can assist and will endeavour to accommodate your request. Stay in our brand new, fully self-contained, clean and well-kept tiny container accommodation for your sole use. You will be welcomed with a complimentary bottle of an Australian wine upon arrival. Please let us know if you do not wish to have this at all for some personal reasons. BEDROOMS: The cabin has two bedrooms with double beds and sleeps up to four guests maximum. 100% cotton linen provided. Extra fleece blankets are provided and placed under the laundry cabinets. KITCHEN: The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast/coffee bar, stools, bar fridge, electric cook top, microwave, oven and Smeg appliances like toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The pantry is stocked with basic essentials and breakfast provisions. We provide some items for you to make your own breakfast such as free range eggs from our happy hens, milk, butter, baked beans, pasta packs, cereals, oats, coffee, tea and so much more. LIVING AREA: A relaxing space for you to unwind on a double seater lounge with a small wall mounted smart TV or simply admire the stunning views of the mountains and the country-side. BATHROOM/LAUNDRY: A combined bathroom and laundry with hand basin, toilet, shower and washing machine. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided as well as freshly laundered towels. Extra towels are provided for longer stays. OUTDOORS/ FIRE PLACE: Admire the stunning views of the mountains and the country-side right on your door steps on the newly built sundeck. Say hello to our lovely and friendly farm animals, sheep, lambs, chickens and the latest addition, Brite and Blue, our dwarf goats as well our cheeky Nubian goats Ginger and Pepper. The fireplace and entertainment area was fully completed early this year (2025) We provide the first set of firewood free of charge. If you require a second lot, we can provide this for an additional charge. Also, please note that Tasmania has a “Total Fire Ban” during Summer (December to March) depending on the fire danger and local conditions, so the fireplace may not be available for use during these months. We will let you know if the TFB is in place during your stay. The fire pit can also be converted into a BBQ. Please let us know in advance if you wish to utilise this so we can prepare it for you. You will need to bring or purchase the bag of charcoal and fire lighting materials with you. Whilst using the fireplace and entertainment area, we do ask all guests to respect us and our neighbours so keeping the noise to its acceptable level is greatly appreciated. There are also small landscaped garden behind the cabin and at the entertainment area. We are constantly working on these gardens for you to enjoy especially during Spring and Summer seasons. LOCATION: Our property is situated in a small and friendly neighbourhood of Elizabeth Town, in between Launceston to the South (40minutes) and Devonport to the North (30minutes) We are surrounded with productive agricultural farm lands renowned for artisanal “Paddock to Plate” gourmet experiences as well as “Short Walk Capital” of Tasmania. Lastly, end your day with a cuppa or cold drinks while enjoying the ever changing magnificent and mystical Tassie sunset. As Guest access The driveway leading to the cabin is for your sole use. We have just completed our new project at the end of February this year (2025) the entertainment and fireplace area with a minimalist style landscaped garden which will now give guests plenty of space to move around. Please utilise the area and enjoy the space. Parking is free and secure. We ask all guests to park on the gravel driveway and not on the lawn/grass areas please. Main front gate is kept close during the night. We are currently updating our cabin listing for Spring and Summer seasons (as of September 2025) so photos may differ from the date you have made your booking.
