This space was created to help you disconnect from everyday life 😊 Our glamping units are cozy and designed to make you feel fully immersed in nature, while enjoying modern comfort and amenities. Each unit is set in a natural environment just steps from the sea, surrounded by tropical vegetation and wildlife. They include luxury orthopedic mattresses, premium sheets and towels, a private deck, and a private bathroom (designed so you can observe monkeys and birds while you shower…). If you would like to cook your own meals, there is a fully equipped shared kitchen in the common areas. This entire area of the Osa Peninsula is off-grid: energy is solar and water comes from a well. We recycle, reuse, and aim to be creative and responsible while still offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. We are fully committed to conservation and work every day to minimize our impact on the natural environment. There is a reason behind everything we do. In addition to these new bungalows near the sea, we also offer a private two-bedroom house with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for families (Four Monkeys Eco Lodge – La Casita). Guest access Where the jungle meets the ocean… Four Monkeys Eco Lodge is set on a 20,000 square meter property. Miles of a nearly private beach—beautiful, pristine, clean, safe, and peaceful. Guests have direct access to Playa Tamales, where you can explore, walk, swim, and surf. Pan Dulce, Backwash, and Cabo Matapalo are located about 5 km away, and access to Corcovado National Park is just 32 km from the property. Other things to note 📍 Quick Info You can reach the lodge with any type of vehicle, although we recommend a 4x4 due to some challenging sections of the road. The entire road is paved except for the last 3 km, which are gravel, in good condition, and do not require crossing any rivers. We are located 11 km south of Puerto Jiménez. There you will find supermarkets, banks, a gas station, restaurants, laundry services, and more. We recommend purchasing everything you need before arriving, as there are no shops near the lodge.
