Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This detached summerhouse set in the well established gardens and grounds of a period residence, is a perfect retreat for relaxing, walking and exploring the local rolling Pendle countryside (Witch country) With the use of dog kennels on site, and a private dog exercise field, this property is also perfect to bring along your furry friends. With an ample kitchen and dining space, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and bed deck this is a fun place to stay. The space Completely separate from the main house this is a self contained space, mainly open plan inside, with interior and exterior dining, and own garden area. Guest access Guests should feel free to walk and explore the extensive gardens, duck pond, and orchard, helping themselves to fruit from the trees in the late summer months. We have apples, plums and pears. Guests also benefit from the use of a golf net, and an immediately adjacent secure dog field so that furry friends are welcome too. There’s also exterior kennels if your dogs aren’t keen on staying inside. Other things to note The second bedroom is on a bed deck above the main lounge / kitchen space. It’s reached by space saver staircase. Headroom is limited so whilst this is great for grown up children and adults, it’s not suitable for young children, anyone not physically able to climb the small stairs, or anyone wanting complete privacy from other guests.
