The sound of the ocean is audible and sets a beautiful background to this lovely Norwegian styled beach home, great for families with children or for a romantic getaway. For winter we have installed a wood burning fireplace. The space This home is suitable for 2 Adults and 2 Children. Main bedroom has a queen sized bed with a pull out bed for small children. Second bedroom up spiral stairs has a double bed. This open plan home has only one door and that's for the bathroom', this is why we say the home is not suitable for couples. Gorgeous open plan living leading out onto a deck with breathtaking views of the ocean, where you can soak up the sun have a BBQ or simply enjoy a glass of our South African wine and watch the sun set directly in front of you during summer months. When planning your meals for your stay please note there is no oven - cooking is on a gas stove, microwave or on a wood burning braai outside. We do not have an alternative power source for loadshedding, it is only for 2 hours please use this time to unwind and soak up the nature. Guest access Guests are free to access the entire home. There is off street parking, from there you walk down stone steps to the main entrance. Other things to note Scarborough is an eco village - please recycle, conserve water, compast, take note of signs in the village and most of all have a great time. Baboons are back in the village after a severe fire we had on the 23 December 2023. They are not permanently in the village they ambush us when we least expect them. They are quiet, devious and opportunists. They will not harm you and sometimes nice to just sit quietly and watch them go by without letting them in or feeding them. In the evening they head up back into the mountains for the night. Don't leave fruit or food visible as this is too tempting for them!!!!
