Circa 1930 Cabin 35 min to Kings Canyon

A spacious, carefully remodeled cabin with original wood paneling, hand crafted doors, comfortable furniture, & indoor/outdoor dining - a comfortable and unique space for friends & family to create memories. The well equipped kitchen has granite countertops, complimentary gourmet coffee, Cuisinart cookware, blender, toaster, spices & olive oil. A covered patio features a large gas grill & a dining table. A kids room with 3 beds, & a high chair & portable crib make it all family friendly. The space Guests love the open feel of the setting and the expansive views of the Sierras. NOTE: This house is 35 minutes from the Big Stump entrance to Kings Canyon. Air BnB has added to the listing that it is 10 minutes - not true! I am trying to get them to fix that. Guest access The entire place is yours, including the back patio. Another unit behind this one is fenced off to provide privacy to visitors. Other things to note In an area where many mobile and manufactured homes, and even sheds, are rented out as BnBs, properties like this stand out for their authenticity, charm and history. The sleeping capacity of 7 is comprised of 2 queen beds, each in their own room, and 3 singles. The singles are in the kids room, one of them being a trundle bed. The trundle bed is best suited for a child, so figure 6 adults maximum , though you can do 7 adults if one of them doesn't mind sleeping in the trundle. Rural location: This a small rural community without the businesses and services you might be accustomed to. The closest supermarkets are 45 minutes away, so do your shopping ahead of time. Keep in mind when you pack that there is no nearby laundromat, and the cabin does not have guest laundry machines. Restaurants are very limited - a pizza parlor, a coffee shop, and a diner type cafe that gets mixed reviews. It’s a good idea to bring most of your meals with you. Our kitchen has everything you need but the groceries!
