Mountain Views at Gulabin House

We've been welcoming guests to Gulabin House for many years. The House has stunning views overlooking Glenshee and the surrounding mountains. It's comfortable, stylish and spacious, with all the mod cons you'd expect of a higher-end home; an ideal place for families and groups of friends to relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. The space Gulabin House's main living space is open plan, light and airy, with a mezzanine to the upper floor accessed by a spiral staircase. Groups can enjoy gathering together for a meal at the large table, sink into the sumptuous sofas round the Scandinavian fire of an evening, or disappear off to one of the quiet nooks to read or admire the view through the huge windows. The modern kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, microwave, American-style larder fridge and a dishwasher. There's plenty of cutlery, crockery and kitchenware, making it easy to cook up a real feast. There are five bedrooms. Two have en-suite shower rooms and there is a family bathroom plus one additional shower room. Four of the bedrooms feature twin beds that can be made up as doubles, depending on guest preferences. The large deck is a south-facing suntrap where guests can enjoy a quiet drink. The charcoal barbeque is close at hand for those who love cooking in the fresh air. Guest access We’re almost always on hand to welcome guests and show them round, before leaving them to enjoy their stay. The downstairs bedroom is a good option for those with mobility issues. The downstairs toilet and shower are a few metres away across the entrance lobby. Other things to note Gulabin House is the perfect place to enjoy the solitude and grandeur of the Cairngorms National Park. Our nearest shops are 30 minutes away, so guests are advised to bring all their provisions with them or arrange a delivery with one of the supermarkets that serve the Spittal of Glenshee.
