The Old School House @ Glenmore

The Old School House @ Glenmore offers a farm stay experience for those wanting to "get away from it all". It has been fully renovated including a brand new bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, play room and 4 spacious bedrooms. The house comfortably sleeps 8 people (1xQueen, 1xDouble and 4xSingles) and is perfect for families, groups of friends or a quiet couples retreat. Please BYO linen and towels. Quilt covers and pillows provided plus heaters and fans. Pets welcome but must stay outside. The space The Old School House is spacious, clean and comfortable. The large yard is fenced, plenty of room for pets to run around though we ask they are secured at night time and kept outside. We have a strict no pets inside the house policy. No need to nag the kids to get off devices, there's no TV or WiFi at the house. Instead families and friends will re connect with each other around the firepit whilst enjoying the peace and tranquility of farm life. Guest access Guests will enjoy the entire house and yard to themselves. They also have access to the 3 bay shed, useful for storing wet gear or fishing rods etc. Kayaks and a yabby net are available for use. Yabby net stored in the garage. Kayaks available upon request. A custom made fire pit will be ready with wood supplied (gather your own kindling) and outdoor tables and chairs provided to sit and relax under a shady tree. Lots of local sites and attractions to explore around Inverell, Ashford and nearby Glen Innes including fossicking opportunities in Frasers Creek and Nullamanna. Please note, access to Glenmore Farm is via 2 unsealed roads which are fine for 2WD however this may change in wet weather where 4WD may be recommended. Other things to note Phone coverage is very limited at the house however outside in the yard and up at Sundowners Hill, a short walk away, guests will get reception.
