Spot deer, bobcats, opossums, great horned owls, coyotes, foxes, hawks, raccoons, and more right from the property. Enjoy our small walking trails, or take a short 4-minute drive to Valley Falls for a scenic hike. Please do not walk in the neighborhood. Inside, you’ll find a no-shoe home with sanitized floors and cozy slippers provided. Relax with board games, a fully stocked kitchen with appliances galore, and peek out the back kitchen door to watch our friendly little Cluckers. Our beds and mattresses are newer, comfortable, and dressed in 100% cotton sheets, with carefully curated ensembles. The open-concept dining area features a table that expands to seat 10. The bathroom includes a walk-in, seated shower and is stocked with vegan shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toiletries. Washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom. Step out onto the deck off the main living area, where cascading honeysuckle attracts hummingbirds from spring through fall. Enjoy the outdoor kitchen, fire pit, picnic seating, and play areas for young children, perfect for family gatherings or quiet evenings. Experience the serenity and peacefulness of this private retreat, a true hideaway in nature. Guest access The entire left side of the property—from the red leaf maple tree at the edge of the driveway—is The Get Away Studio Suite, with The Hide Away located across from the garden. These two side-by-side units (1,000 sf and 600 sf) are your private domain for the duration of your stay. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor grounds and special offers after a tour in the vegetable garden (seasonal of course) at their leisure. Jon and Jeri live in the contemporary unit on the west side—and are available 24/7 please contact us by phone or text if needed. Other things to note • We handle the cleaning. Please do not strip the beds. We only ask for basic tidying: dishes in the dishwasher, towels in the laundry baskets, and trash/recycling on the back deck landing. • Toilet use: Only flush 1-ply toilet paper. Please inform all guests. • Water: Our well water is safe and perfectly potable. • Additional guests: An $18 per person per stay fee applies for more than 6 guests. Please request full/mini cribs, twin beds, or extra bedding if needed. Children under 60 lbs are welcome to sleep on leather couches. Ask us for extra bedding. • Smoking & vaping: Outside only, away from open doors. • Laundry: For use by guests staying in the unit only. (Please do not bring laundry from off-site locations, e.g., camps, dorms, from home.) our W/D is for light use only with ventless dryer. • WiFi: 500 Mbps; guest password will be provided. • Neighborhood walking: Walking in the neighborhood is not permitted.
