Ransgården is located in a scenic location by Lake Örlen in Fagersanna. Close to Tiveden National Park, Hjo & Karlsborg. Built as a retirement home in 1928. In the 1950s, it was converted into a tourist guesthouse/banquet hall with large living areas. Here you can live boarding house life with loved ones. Ransgården has a large well-equipped kitchen, a large dining room that generously provides opportunities for shared cooking and socializing. Here, time has stood still with preserved period-style decor and color schemes from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Max. 18 guests The space Ransgården has two buildings with bedrooms. The main building is open year-round and the Large Guest House is open in spring, summer and fall. All bedrooms have comfortable beds and most bedrooms have their own sink in the room. In the main building, there is a generous hall and cloakroom. The large kitchen is well-equipped including a fast dishwasher. There is a large tableware set with many glasses, different plates and cutlery. The many social rooms consist of TV room, play and game room, dining room with piano and fireplace. Outside, you can sit on the porch overlooking the lake and evening sun, or on the front with morning sun. There is a possibility to borrow a grill (barbecue) - charcoal grill Weber Master Touch 57 cm In the main building there are four toilets (two upstairs and two on the entrance floor). In the men's room on the entrance floor there are also two urinals. There is a separate shower room upstairs with a shower. Many of the bedrooms have their own sinks with hot and cold water. In the Large Guest House there is another toilet. In the basement, there is the possibility to use a washing machine and dryer by agreement. Guest access The big house is available for the guest. A few rooms are private and not available to tenants. The annex, Stora Gäststugan, is available in spring, summer and fall. Three buildings are only accessible by agreement; the Storage, the Henhouse and the Old Red House ("Ryggåsstugan").
