Double pane window offers backyard view surrounded by foliage. Hardwood floors with ample shelving. Closet has hangers and book shelf has books on local interest topics. Double-sized bed has a mattress heater and room include infra-red space heater for your added comfort. Ample bedding & pillows. In general our space is suitable for those who many be chemically sensitive: older materials and vintage bedding that have finished off-gassing, no harsh cleaners, strictly no smoking/nicotine both indoors and out, hand soaps are mild, and no air 'fresheners'. We use HEPA filters, dehumidifier and extractor fans to keep the indoors air clear. ------------------------- HOUSE RULES NO space heaters. Inquire about how to stay warm in the room. NO burning incense, candles, etc NO tobacco smoking. We WILL smell it, including outdoor trash. NO tobacco chew spitting or in trash NO tobacco smelling personal items NO high temp vape, bongs, pipes, joints, dabbing (etc) inside. LOW temp only. NO frequent vape trips outside due to neighbors seeing. RESPONSIBLE drinking & cannabis behavior ONLY. OUTDOOR nicotine vaping OK (NOT out window). No gross, fruity smells. If your nicotine/cannabis use does NOT fit rules, save us both admin hassles by refraining from booking NO random 'visitors', hookups or 'service providers' anywhere near property including in your car at our curb. NO excessive baggage & boxes. NO excessive utility usage (water, energy, internet quota, etc). Disclosure: the room does not lock. BE NICE to our 2 tiny dogs. SMALL QUIET dogs ok, NO chronic barkers. Front-declawed cats OK who do not stress-pee, scent-mark, scratch furniture or bully small dogs. I am somewhat amenable to 'odd hours' access, depending on our schedules. NO check-ins after 10pm. We look forward to hosting you in our quiet, peaceful home with respect toward our house rules & needs. We prefer medium to long term stays with people who settle in more like roommates for a time. Other things to note For those who may be allergic: I have 2 short-haired 'micro' dogs who are flea-free, clean and cared-for. I have hardfloors nearly everywhere which makes cleaning easy. We use 3-stage air filters (HEPA, activated charcoal and UV light) to deal with airborne stuff. Our forced HVAC system has been cleaned & sanitized & has an electrostatic filter that does a great job controlling dust. Pillows etc may be 'nuked' in dryer periodically if dust mites bother you.
