Gembrook Manor is a proud & stately home set high on a hill capturing the most beautiful landscape of rolling green hills & only a 1 hour drive from Melbourne. Enjoy Fine dining at ‘The Independent’ or Spencer’s store (a local favourite) for breakfast/brunch/lunch in the Main St a short 5 minute walk from your door. With plenty of walking/riding tracks close by to take in the magnificent scenery. Wake up to the sound of our beautiful native birds with a relaxing cuppa on our glorious balcony. The space Our large & recently renovated country home is situated on 1 acre only a 5 minute walk into the Main Street. Guests will enjoy their own private wing with a gorgeous large bathroom including huge shower, cast iron bath, heated floor & towel rail & French Doors. The Guest bedroom also has French doors opening onto the front balcony (main guest entrance) & a fully equipped kitchenette & robe with gowns. Continental breakfast provided with welcome drinks & chocolates on arrival. Guest access Our guests will enjoy the beautifully appointed guest bedroom with adjoining kitchenette & walk in robe. Hallway from bedroom leading to a large & luxurious fully private bathroom with cast iron claw foot bath & large shower complete with underfloor heating & heated towel rail. Guests will have access to our front formal lounge with gas fire place & tv when we are home which is on most occasions however in the event that we are out this area will be locked to ensure privacy. Guests are welcome to relax on our front balcony at all times to enjoy the beautiful view & hopefully sunsets. Note: Guests will not have to share any of these spaces during their stay. Private access via French Doors off front balcony into guest wing. During your stay We will provide any assistance, recommendations to our guests to ensure their stay is an enjoyable experience. Local maps are located in bedside table of guest suite. We will respect the privacy of our guests & interact accordingly. Totally understand that everyone is different & some may enjoy conversation whilst others may prefer to enjoy a fully private stay. Other things to note Add on a 'High Tea experience' (2 guests - Pre check in 2 hours duration) Available only between 1pm - 5pm. Enjoy 2 hours of total indulgence with a complementary glass of bubbly in our light filled front dining room (The Provincial) Delicious sandwiches scones hot savoury & sweet delights all lovingly made by your host. 4-8 guests can enjoy a High Tea in our larger & elegant dining room (The Lisbon) Invite family/friends to join you prior to your own check in. You will get to kick back & relax in your guest suite post your High Tea. Kindly contact your host for availability & further details.
