It is 4 miles from Abergavenny and within Bannau Brycheiniog, which is also known the Brecon Beacons National Park. The space Head off on long walks and return to bask in the summer sunshine or enjoy the warmth of the fire pit as you take in the magical views. Wander into the bijou bolthole to find a warm welcome in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Cuddle up on the sofa in here over a bottle of wine and a good film on the TV. Choose a book from the shelf, read your own novel or discuss your adventures of the day. Make fresh coffee in the machine and prepare romantic dinners to enjoy at the table on those occasions you choose to dine in. When you are ready to retire for the night, amble through to the king-size bedroom for a superb night’s sleep. Awake in the morning to a refreshing shower before making breakfast and heading off for the day. Enjoy the sunshine out in your private garden or take a stroll around the owner’s orchard. Cook supper on the BBQ and light the fire pit as the stars appear in the night sky above you. Head into Abergavenny to browse in the interesting shops and stock up on local produce. Most of the eateries in this renowned foodie town will also be serving delicious Welsh ingredients. Venture out on foot to explore Bannau Brycheiniog or to climb the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Visit the medieval manor house at Tretower Court and Castle, 8 miles from the cottage, or Grosmont Castle, 11 miles away.
