OakTree Lodge is a charming one-bedroom retreat set within the tranquil surroundings of Finlake Holiday Resort and Spa in South Devon. Nestled among woodland trails and natural scenery, it features a private hot tub on an enclosed decking area and offers access to resort amenities including a swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts (additional fees apply). The lodge welcomes pets and enjoys a convenient location close to both the seaside and Dartmoor National Park. The space Oak Tree Lodge is a Scandinavian-style one-bedroom retreat set in 130 acres of countryside within Finlake Resort & Spa in Chudleigh, Devon. It’s ideal for couples looking for a peaceful and private stay. The entrance leads into an L-shaped hallway with a coat hanger and shoe rack. To the right, there’s a private two-bench sauna—great for relaxing after a busy day. At the end of the hallway, a glazed door opens onto a private decking area with a patio table and chairs. The private hot tub is sheltered on three sides, offering privacy and views of the surrounding trees. Guests are welcome to bring a portable BBQ for outdoor cooking. Opposite the sauna is the open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area. It features high-quality flooring, underfloor heating, a leather corner sofa with chaise longue, Smart TV, and complimentary broadband. The kitchen is fully equipped with integrated appliances, suitable for preparing meals during your stay. The bedroom includes a king-size bed with a pocket sprung mattress, a vanity unit, large TV, bedside units, and built-in storage. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, separate shower unit, washbasin, toilet, and bidet. Towels are provided. Please bring your own toiletries and kitchen basics. Guests have access to on-site facilities including the Finlake Falls Waterpark, gym, swimming pools, tennis courts, adult-only spa, and woodland trails. Additional fees apply. Perfectly located near Dartmoor National Park and just a short drive from the English Riviera, Oak Tree Lodge makes a fantastic base for discovering Devon’s countryside and coastline. Guest access Access to the whole lodge. Other things to note PET FRIENDLY - dogs are welcome at an extra charge (£40/dog). Pets must not be left unsupervised at any time and are not permitted on the furniture or beds. FAMILY FRIENDLY – upon request we can provide one highchair and a travel cot. Bedding is not provided for the travel cot. NO SMOKING - no smoking in the lodge. EARLY CHECK-IN and/or LATE CHECK-OUT may be available for purchase (£35 each). Please contact us if you wish to order it. SWIMMING POOL & GYM ACCESS Access to the swimming pool and gym is not included in the lodge price. However, we will notify the resort of your booking so that you can arrange activities, including swimming, directly with them. Payment is made separately in advance (over the phone), and passes can then be collected from the swimming pool reception. NOTE: Guests need to bring their own toiletries and kitchen necessities.
