Only 12 minutes from downtown Chico, the farmers market, restaurants, and Chico State, yet perched 1,000 feet above the valley floor on scenic Highway 32. Enjoy a peaceful mountain retreat with city views, nature, and starlit nights. Our owner lives on-site and is chemical and fragrance sensitive. We use natural cleaning products and soaps. Our 21-acre property offers private accommodations with shared access to the pool and select outdoor amenities. The space This is a custom, 21’ x 29’, private stand alone studio with King sized bed, kitchenette, TV lounge and private bath at our multi unit, 21 acre, Zen Mountain Retreat nature getaway. Our grounds are a gentle place to nurture the soul, focus on oneself or spend quality time going deeper with a partner. The vanity lights in the bathroom and ceiling fan in the living room are on the same circuit and the wiring has burned out. The electrician could not get it fixed. We’ve added a supplemental lighting to the bathroom and TV lounge. This unit only has a swamp cooler and I’m very very hot days. The unit doesn’t get more than 17° cooler than the temperature outside. Guest access Laundry, pool, koi ponds, and general parking area are shared on the lower level. Pool is seasonal, May through November, (weather permitting). Other things to note DO NOT BRING ANIMALS HERE! Again: Please REMOVE SHOES before entering.
