You won't find sweeping mountain views or secluded cabin vibes here, but you will get a place that is clean, comfortable and affordable. This brand new 2-bedroom basement suite is the perfect place to unwind at the end of a full day of adventure. The space The tastefully decorated living area provides a comfortable space to relax. Gather around the dining table for a drink or two, read up on local guidebooks or catch up on your favourite Netflix shows. In the morning, step outside onto the front porch and catch the first rays poking over the mountains while sipping a cup of coffee. The 9 ft ceilings ensure the suite doesn't feel cramped, and during the winter the electric fireplace will ensure cozy evenings. The fully equipped kitchenette features all the essentials to whip up delicious meals, complete with a refrigerator, air fryer, induction hot plates, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. There's also a BBQ and small table & chairs on the front porch if you would rather be outside. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or a hearty dinner, you'll find everything you need at your fingertips. And if you don't feel like cooking, the Miners Cafe and Nordegg Lodge are just a short walk and even quicker drive down the hill. Each of the two bedrooms boasts a comfortable queen bed ensuring a restful night's sleep. The refreshing shower will provide a rejuvenating experience after a day of outdoor explorations. The cool temperature in the suite provides welcome respite from hot summer days. And in the winter, the electric fireplace and heaters in each of the bedrooms allow you to adjust the temperature to make it as toasty you like! Slippers are provided for your convenience. Guest access The entire basement (except for a storage room), front porch and front entrance are yours to enjoy. The laundry room is locked but available upon request. Other things to note We live upstairs with our 5 year old daughter. We have taken great care to use extra soundproofing materials but you will hear footsteps from time to time. The house is generally quiet between 8pm and 7am. If you are looking for a dead quiet space, this may not be the right place for you.
