The space The mountain house, designed by award-winning architect MRDK, features spacious interiors with panoramic views of the Mount Ascutney valley. Every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an ambiance of comfort and rejuvenation. • Bedrooms: The home includes two master bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, and a third bedroom with a custom double bunkbed. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access Guests can use the entire property with the exception of the locked closet under the stairs and the closet by the laundry room (both on the lower level). Other things to note The house is sited on the highest point of the property - approximately 1100 feet on a gravel driveway off a public road - so we recommend an all wheel drive car in the winter and mud season. The beginning of the driveway is the steepest portion and then it levels off. We work with a reliable, local plowing company, however we are in a rural area, and it may take several hours before we get plowed depending on the conditions. Guests may use the indoor wood stove if they certify that they will do so safely and will be responsible for any damage due to its use or misuse. Bringing your pup along? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation. Please note that Cloudborne Cabin is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
