Discover Munster and its valley: o which is full of: many mountain lakes such as Lac Vert, Forlet, Altenweiher, or Lac du Fishboedle... multiple hiking trails signposted by the Vosges club o which has classified nature reserves, within the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, but also its historical sites: such as Le Linge (Battlefield 14-18), or the Château du Holansbourg Munster is a small town with its history, its abbey, its restaurants, shops and its two weekly markets; not to mention its storks. Munster is located at the foot of the Schlucht pass and gives you the opening of the famous ridge and Vosges route such as Gérardmer or Bresse. You'll find: • at the entrance to Griesbach-au-Val, its train station served by a TER that will transport you from Metzeral at the bottom of the valley or to Colmar TGV train station • 100 m from our cottage a bike path that will take you from the bottom of the valley to Colmar We are located: • a short walk to the famous wine route; thanks to it you can cross Alsace through all our wine and medieval villages from South to North • a few kilometers from the Bartholdi city, Colmar is a dynamic city with its museums, picturesque neighborhoods, its "Little Venice" and its gastronomy The Alsace plain is full of wonders from North to South, you can discover many museums, castles, vineyards, but also the Rhine, the Vauban city of Neuf-Brisach and of course our Christmas markets in December, a colorful and discovery-filled stay.
