We can often make it possible :) You will be living in a simple, self-built one-room cottage in a sustainable wooden construction in an absolutely secluded location in the middle of nature. Here you will find your low-impact lifestyle and a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life 🌱 Please read the text below about the simple technical equipment of our cottage :) You are on an organically farmed orchard meadow on the edge of the forest overlooking the rugged and beautiful expanses of the Upper Palatinate Hills Nature Park. The walls, ceiling and floor of the tiny house are clad with oiled boards, which ensures a pleasant indoor climate. On approx. 20 sqm you will find a double bed, small pantry kitchen with the most necessary equipment, cupboard, wood-burning stove, dining area and living area. Bed linen for 2 guests is provided, but no towels. We can provide folding mattresses for additional guests. Thanks to the huge panoramic windows in all areas, you can enjoy the magnificent views to the south and west and the spectacular sunsets from every point. It is a very special experience, especially in rough weather: you experience the forces of nature directly, sitting in the middle of it - but protected behind glass and cosily heated. The area around the house is protected from view by the structural orientation and hedges. Thanks to insulation and a wood-burning stove, the house is also suitable for winter! It must be heated independently with wood. Wood is provided. Experience in dealing with a stove is helpful - or alternatively a bit of an adventurous spirit and willingness to learn ;) You will receive a detailed collection of instructions, tips and videos from us in the check-in information. In sub-zero temperatures, you must fire vigorously and regularly, even 1–2 times during the night. Then it will be cosily warm 🔥 Attention: in exceptionally strong winter conditions, i.e. snow depths over 10 cm or icing, the access road may be impassable in extreme cases. The nearest car park on a street with normal winter road maintenance would then be 500m away. This happens, if at all, max. once a year ❄️ if possible, we offer to shuttle you once, including luggage. In general, the use of the dirt road is always at your own risk. !Pay attention to the technical equipment! We originally built this cottage for ourselves because we love the place so much. Later we also wanted to open it for guests :) the cottage has already lived a few years and the natural materials age and develop patina and character 🤎 also not all windows always run flawlessly, but everything works sufficiently :) Our price for the overnight stay is not so much due to an immaculate room, but above all due to the location and the extraordinarily high cost of care to enable you to have a special holiday in the middle of nature :) 🤍💚 Electricity for lighting comes from a camping battery. You can charge your mobile phone or laptop. Electrical appliances cannot be operated. Very good mobile reception. There is no fridge. There is no running water! Washing up and personal hygiene can be done at the small sink in the cabinet kitchen using water and waste water canisters (10l). Two canister fillings are provided; the waste water must be emptied manually. Outside, there is a freestanding dry toilet and a solar shower bag that can also be heated indoors by the stove. Bed linen, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent are provided. Please note that towels are not provided! Unfortunately, you can't set this separately in the ad details, so it's unfortunately there. Due to the location in the middle of nature on an organically farmed fruit meadow, insects of all kinds are to be expected near the cottage and occasionally inside. Two windows and the patio door are equipped with insect screens. Note: Unfortunately, a crack has recently appeared in one of the large windows. It was sealed in an inconspicuous manner. The function is not impaired, but the repair is minimally visible. Access via dirt road. Parking available directly at the house. If more sleeping places are required, please contact us. We can provide simple folding mattresses with bed sheet, wool blankets and sofa pillows. There are numerous beautiful walks, hikes and bike tours around the accommodation 🌳 ✨NEW✨ My guests will soon be able to book a visit with a professional dog hairdresser for their four-legged friends at a discount. This service will be available from January 2026. Your dog will be picked up by dog taxi in the tiny house, pampered and well maintained, and safely brought back.
