The wine-growing community of Ihringen, the warmest place in Germany, lies between the vineyards, spoiled by the sun. The region is also known as the 'Tuscany' of Germany. It is known not only for its mild climate but also for its special wines. Other things to note With more than 10 wineries, all within walking distance, you have the perfect choice for your own wine preferences. In the fall we offer you to experience our grape harvest. Our vacation apartment is located on the outskirts of the village right next to the vineyards, but only a few minutes' walk from the village center with its diverse gastronomy and shopping opportunities. The entrance to the cycle path network is also in the immediate vicinity. The train station is around 800 m away with good S-Bahn connections to Freiburg or Breisach. It is also an ideal starting point for hikes in the vineyards, for example to the Lenzenberg viewpoint or to the highest point of the Kaiserstuhl, the Neunlindenturm or the 'Liliental' with its redwood trees and orchids. For your entire stay, you will receive the "Konus Card" for free use of all local public transport in the region, including streetcars, trains and buses. Trips to the Black Forest or as far as Basel are possible without any problems. Visit Freiburg with its famous cathedral, the beautiful farmers' market and the old town, Breisach am Rhein with the Münsterberg, nearby Alsace with the Vosges mountains, the Black Forest with Titisee and Schluchsee or Europa-Park Rust.
