The space This historic Arts and Crafts style house, built in 1910, with a mid-century modern interior, is located in the hip and trendy area of Southtown in the Lavaca historic neighborhood adjacent to elegant and leafy King William, one of the oldest and grandest neighbourhoods in Texas. It has a bright and sunny tiled front porch and the bamboo-lined backyard, laid with new gravel, is ready for tropical al fresco lounging in the warm sunshine. There is a huge, fully equipped kitchen with a brand new Samsung french door refrigerator and a gorgeous bathroom with a dramatic freestanding bath, as well as a tiled shower room. We’ve also got a fantastic laundry room with a new Samsung Washer and Dryer, as well as private parking, with the added security of a Nest floodlight in the driveway at night. You can get downtown in just a few minutes by car, or easily walk to the famous Riverwalk, the Blue Star Arts Centre, or the many cool and buzzing restaurants of Southtown, as well as Freetail Brewery, our local micro brew, just a short walk down the street. There are also convenient buses along South Presa or South St Mary’s to our vibrant Downtown, La Villita, the Convention Center, Riverwalk and the Alamo, as well as to our Museums and the Pearl District in growing Mid-Town SA, or you can easily drive or take a bus south to the historic 18th C UNESCO Heritage Site Spanish Missions.
