Description
My place is within walking distance to Historic Titusville. You’ll love my place because it's a quick 20 minute drive to Kennedy Space Center. Or, watch launches from riverfront parks, just a 8-10 minute walk. We are cyclist friendly and have a secure indoor area to store your bicycles. We are also LGBT friendly :) The space Your room is perfect for relaxing after a nice day at the Canaveral National Seashore. This beach is gorgeous - not developed other than parking lots and bathrooms. This is the perfect place to visit a "natural" beach while visiting Florida. Of course, if you wish to eat/drink at a restaurant with your toes in the sand, I suggest driving to Cocoa Beach, where you will find tons of restaurants. For launches, you can see the vehicles take off from the many riverside parks (3 are within a 8-10 minute walking distance from the house). Your room is small, as is the rest of this 70 year old wood house. No one has complained about the size, usually they are out and about exploring the area. But, I would like to be up front - If you are looking for a 300 sq ft hotel room, then I suggest you go see Mickey Mouse in Orlando in a big chain hotel. Guest access Guests will have access to the kitchen, as well as the shared bathroom and their private room. The kitchen has a stove, an oven, microwave, and a toaster oven. You are welcome to use the kitchen to cook, just please clean up after yourselves. Make yourselves some backyard fresh eggs from our laying hens (when available!) I usually make a large pot of Cuban coffee in the morning, but also have an American coffee maker that I can set up as well. A variety of tea is also available. Just please let me know what time to set it all up for you. You are welcomed to use the desk in the living room to set up laptops. There is a printer/scanner/copier also available. During your stay I am available during your stay to make sure all your needs are met. Usually, I am in and out of the house, but a quick text away. Other things to note ** Pleases note, as with ALL small towns on the Indian River Lagoon, there is a train that goes through. Flagler's Railroad, which came through Titusville in 1892, basically allowed our small cities to thrive and grow. Railroads made Florida, Florida - you are never too far from an active line. I don't have control of the railroad, or how many times the conductors blow their horn, but, I have earplugs if you need them. I have had many guests say they never heard it, others say it just awakes them. **
