Bike rides, as well as walks along the NOK, can start right at your doorstep. The Eckernförder Baltic Sea beach can be reached in about 15 km and invites you to spontaneous swimming and sunbathing. The Büsumer-Nordseestrand is about 80 km away and the St. Peter-Ordinger North Sea beach about 100 km away. The state capital Kiel is about 25 km away (about 20 minutes) and is particularly popular for Kieler Woche and perfectly accessible from Sehestedt.
