Both homes are connected by a staircase and surrounded by hardwood forrest. Both overlook a rolling pasture and a horse barn. There are private hiking trails on the property, along with a picnic pond. A mountain farmstead, minutes from all the ski resorts, Grandfather Mtn., whitewater and Banner Elk...Fiddlehead Banner Elk is your choice! The space The Lodge- a meticulously remade and expanded 1940's cabin; two kings and one queen+twin bedroom, a home theater/game room, a chef's kitchen, wrap around deck, indoor and outdoor fireplaces and a hot tub. No detail overlooked. No pets please. The TreeHouse- the original model home for Eagles Nest; constructed of whole Norwegian Timber, three king beds in a two-story room, a galley kitchen, a game room on lower level with pull out bed. Ideal for families. No pets please. Guest access Fiddlehead Banner Elk includes both the Lodge and TreeHouse and exclusive use of the 22 acres. Other things to note During Winter months, it's highly recommended that guests arrive in an all wheel vehicle or have access to chains. Lois Lane is a steep drive up and very shady, meaning it's often slippery and dangerous. The owners apply salt/slag at their own discretion. Firewood is provided for the Lodge, located under the deck.
