Sandy lanes lead you to our newly remodeled 2 bedroom 2 bath home on North Captiva which is ready for you to enjoy your island stay. The cottage home reflects the charm of the island while keeping comfort at the heart of your stay. Each bedroom has its own full bath with luxury shower heads. The living area has a sectional sofa with a large TV and 2 lounge chairs. Our newly designed kitchen is well equipped. Island Club access with pools included with your stay. Short stroll to beach. The space The moment you step onto a ferry bound for the island, let your worries drift away. Relax to the gentle sway of the boat and breathe in the crisp, salty air. The newly decorated home reflects the charm of the island while keeping comfort at the heart of your stay. Each bedroom has its own attached full bath with luxury shower heads. The living area has a comfortable sectional sofa with a large TV and 2 lounge chairs for relaxing. Our newly designed kitchen is equipped for your meal prep and ease of use for memorable meals around a counter height butcher block table. If you prefer to dine out try the restaurant at the Island Club (Mango's), OTW (Over the Waterfront), Mainstays or hire a private chef to deliver a tasty meal to the house. You can also dine outside at our 6 person polywood dining table or just rest in a lounge chair on the open air deck off the living area. If you prefer screened in space we have a bar top with bar chairs and two adirondack chairs on a screened in porch off the kitchen. Lounge at the Island Club at North Captiva, included in your stay. At the club you can enjoy 2 pools, a hot tub, kayaks, and the Club Bar & Restaurant at Mangos (food and drinks not included). Enjoy watching for the dolphins at the beach at the end of the airstrip or meander down the lane to soak in the Gulf of Mexico or to take in a spectacular sunset. North Captiva has wonderful nature trails and spacious beaches to explore. It is an island paradise with spacious beaches, wildlife and a sense of serenity that is increasingly rare to find. The Island Club and pools included with stay is is great, the beautiful beach is just a short stroll down the lane! However, parts of the island are still recovering from the hurricanes and you may see and hear construction in areas. >ENTERTAINMENT: *Member access to the Island Club at North Captiva, includes 2 pools, hot tub, kayak, & paddle boards. *Screened-in porch with Polywood Adirondack Chairs and Bar top and chairs. *Board games and books for indoor entertainment. *HD large Smart TVs in the living room. It is known for spacious beaches, clear waters and lovely tropical landscapes. This picturesque island, part of the barrier islands of the Gulf of Mexico, offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its pristine beaches, lush tropical vegetation, and unique charm, North Captiva Island is a paradise for those seeking a peaceful and natural getaway. It is easily accessible from RSW airport in Fort Myers Florida. From there a shuttle service, taxi or car rental can be arranged to the boat ferry. The island is only accessible by boat. >WILDLIFE: North Captive is home to a rich variety of wildlife. You can spot dolphins frolicking in the Gulf, manatees slowly navigating the canals (fun to do with them from a kayak), and a diverse range of bird species like ospreys, pelicans, and herons. We also have turtle hatchlings every year and more can be learned about this with the North Captiva Sea Turtle Foundation. The island’s subtropical climate and lush vegetation create a perfect habitat for these creatures. >GUEST ACCESS: You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. There is an electronic keypad on the front door that will provide access to the home. We will send you the code prior to arrival. Guests have private access to the entire home and property. >OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: There is no road access to North Captiva Island; you will arrive by ferry, private charter or personal boat. We suggest Island Girl Charters or the Island Club at North Captiva. Golf carts can be rented through Boats and Fun on North Captiva. No refunds for weather, power outages or other incidents outside of our control. We do recommend our guests consider trip insurance. It is an island without road access to the mainland, things like Wifi can go down. Additionally you will likely see and hear critters, like lizards and insects, we do have routine Pest Control but it will not stop all insects from trying to access the house, we will not give refunds for such things. There is lower level for homeowner items only and not accessible. Other things to note We do have exterior security cameras that monitor the grounds for safety but no camera looks into the house. If any camera is tampered with guests will be required to leave. There is no road access to North Captiva Island; you will arrive by ferry, private charter or personal boat. We suggest Island Girl Charters or the Island Club at North Captiva. No refunds for weather, power outages or other incidents outside of our control.
