Located in the Val de Saire, the "Le Normandien" gîte is a detached house in a very quiet little village a few steps from the sea. This 80 m2 house on 2 levels with a courtyard and garden is located in the heart of the Renouville hamlet. Family, hikers, friends... this cottage is close to 2 beautiful preserved beaches and the famous GR 223 hiking trail, the customs trail (less than 1 km away). The space Practical and functional layout with all the modern comforts you would expect from a weekend or vacation home. On the ground floor: - Entrance through a corridor with 6 coat hangers attached to the wall and a bench/box for shoes, - Living room consisting of 3 spaces: open kitchen, dining room, living room. Fully equipped kitchen (filter coffee machine, Nespresso capsule coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, steamer, pressure cooker, dishes...), table & chairs for 6 people, 1 low cabinet, 1 3-seater sofa, 1 2-seater convertible sofa, 1 coffee table, TV..., - Bathroom (shower, single sink with dresser), - Separate toilet, - Another entrance through a door between the kitchen and the living room overlooking the garden. On the 1st floor (child safety gate): - Bedroom 1: double bed, 140 x 190, 2 nightstands, dresser and coat rack with hangers, - Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, 90 x 190, wardrobe with hangers, - 1 hallway that leads into bedroom 2 with a wooden baby crib, a changing table, - 1 bathroom consisting of 1 toilet and sink. Exterior: - Garden tables with umbrella, - Children's table with chairs, - Barbecue, - 6 deckchairs. The exterior is closed but we emphasize that the low walls are being repaired. A temporary fence encloses the street-side garden. All rooms accessible to guests are shown in the photos in the listing. This gite can accommodate 4 people and 1 baby. Baby equipment available on request: high chair, changing table with cushion and cover, bath chair, dishes (plates, cutlery, cups), mattress protection and fitted sheet for the wooden baby bed. The house has a parking space in the yard or in front on the street (2 possible accesses). The price includes: rental, water, electricity, Wi-Fi. Bed and bath linens provided as well as dish towels. Beds made on arrival. Cleaning is not included in the nightly rate. It is systematically added to the price of the stay, as is the tourist tax. No pets allowed. The cottage is NON-SMOKING inside. Ideal location to discover our beautiful region, North Cotentin, all the charm of the coastline and the countryside. The vacation rental is located between Cherbourg and Saint Vaast La Hougue. Nearby towards Cherbourg: - Cosqueville Beach, Sablon Beach, Fort Joret Beach, Fréval Beach (Anse de Visière), Mondrée Beach (Fermanville), - Beautiful views and walks along the sea: Phare du Cap Lévi, Anse du Brick but also Vallée des Moulins, and Cherbourg (Cité de la Mer, the museum of the famous umbrellas of Cherbourg, the port...). Nearby towards Barfleur – Saint Vaast La Hougue: - Réthoville beach, Néville beach (blockhouses still visible from the war), the Gatteville Lighthouse, Barfleur and its magnificent port, Tatihou Island in Saint Vaast La Hougue... A little further towards La Hague (40-45 minutes by car), for nature lovers, trails near the sea, pretty little villages: - Ecalgrain Bay, Port Racine (the smallest port in France), Nez de Jobourg... Your shopping: shops, services and supermarket in Saint-Pierre-Eglise (4 km), market on Wednesday morning in the main square. Fuel: 2 possibilities in Saint-Pierre-Eglise at Carrefour Market (exit of St Pierre, direction Cherbourg) or Peugeot station (exit of St Pierre, direction Barfleur).
