In the medieval Borgo of Vallebona you find our spacious, stylish and in 2023 fully renovated apartment of 70+ m2. The apartment combines the traditional Ligurian architecture with contemporary design. The spacious livingroom with open kitchen, the large bedroom and the luxurious bathroom makes your stay an unforgettable experience. Have a coffee or an aperitivo on the balcony, overlooking the old church, the hills surrounding Bordighera and even a glimpse at the mediteranian sea. The space The apartment was recently renovated (2023) but kept the typical Ligurian style with arched ceilings, thick walls and the traditional floor. We turned the former family house into a spacious apartment for two with a spacious living room with open kitchen, a large but cozy bed room with a double bed, and a spacious bath room in marble. What makes this apartment unique is the with care selected furniture, art and accessoiries from all the places we live and lived before: Amsterdam, Brussels and Budapest. Every detail with love. But also with an eye for comfort in use, what you need on a holiday or a weekend break. There is a full equipped kitchen with coffee and tea, bed and bath linen for all seasons, for summer there is a built in air conditioning, for winter a heating system. The apartment has a balcony, facing a little square, the church, the green hills and even a glimpse of the blue sea. The pantry with boiler and main water tap is also for the private use of the owner. You can of course place your luggage in the pantry. The location is a good spot for a weekend or a long stay. You are at the beach in 10 minutes, by car or by bus. There is a local bus to Bordighera from Vallebona and back. By bike it's almost the same, a 15 minutes trip. When leaving the Borgo in the back, you are in the green hills where you can enjoy a short walk or a long one. Sanremo is 30 minutes and worth a day trip. Same for Nice. It's 40 minutes by car. But staying in Vallebona for diner and relaxed evenings is a great choice too. There are four restaurants in the village. There is a shop with basic needs, a pharmacy and a post office. Guest access The Borgo of Vallebona is not accessible by car. The apartment is a three minutes walk from the parking lot at the entrance of the village. It’s an easy and little climb up by foot. The apartment is on the second floor accessible by stairs. We have a self check in system, so you can check in any time you want. There is a key lock. You will get the code after booking.
