The Mount (Bedroom 4)
Description
Large twin bedroom in a handsome Georgian property just a five minute walk into town, with car parking on site. Guests also have the use (shared with other guests) of the lounge and the dining room. In the morning we provide a continental breakfast ( self serve) with cereals, milk, fruit juice, yoghurt, bread and jams. Guests can also use the room, which has a microwave, to prepare their own ready meals or eat a takeaway. We live at The property and our private area is roped off in the hall. The space The Mount is a large Georgian property, formerly run for many years as a guest house. Updated to a very high standard, The Mount is now a luxurious home. There are six bedrooms of which four are available through airbnb. The centre of Bideford is just a five minute walk away, where guests will find plenty of cafes and restaurants, and have the opportunity to stroll along the Quay Further afield, Appledore ( a historic port and characterful village) and Instow (lovely sandy beach and elegant promenade) face each other across the mouth of the River Torridge. The South West Coast Path runs through Bideford as does the Tarka Trail, which provides 20 miles of flat cycling or walking along a disused railway line with lovely views towards Instow in one direction and alongside the Torridge to Torrington in the other And there's the beaches!! Two miles of beautiful sand at Westward Ho! or there's Instow with a lovely stretch of sand at all stages of the tide. Guest access Guests have the use of the lounge and dining room (shared with other guests) Our private area is marked off with a rope across the hall During your stay We are happy to be contacted by mobile and will do our best to assist in any way to make our guests stay memorable. Other things to note We have two spaniels (Monty and Tess) which we keep within our private area
