Experience the island's enduring charm while relishing the convenience of the North Captiva Island Club, granting entry to two pools, a hot tub, kayaks, and bicycles. The space This is our custom built beach cottage that we have owned since it was built in 2004. Efficient design, and and built with a sustainable ideal. Ideally set up for a couple, or for four the home is best suited to occupants that get along well. Privacy is king in our home located at the end of street with few neighbors and a short distance to our fantastic beaches. Make sure to check out the outdoor shower downstairs. Reverse Osmosis water is available at the tap in sink. Please be gentle with the plumbing. We have a septic system, so please be mindful on what is flushed. Our membership to North Captiva is available for our guest to enjoy their great amenities. A golf cart rental is recommended as there is no cars on the island, golf cart rental can be arranged through property manager 80/day. Ferry service is available daily to the island. I recommend using Island Girl Charters. Parking for your car on Pine Island should also be planned. Once you have your stay reserved my property manager will share info for arranging transportation to the island, golf cart rental, and can assist with groceries, drink delivery. When you get to the island on the ferry they will greet you, and assist with luggage delivery to the cottage. We hope you enjoy our island paradise! Other things to note Please make sure to realize this home is on a barrier island with no car access. Ferry service or private boat will be needed to get here. On the island a golf cart is really a must for getting around. Our property manager can arrange for a rental. There are also a few other companies that rent them on the island. I recommend making arrangements for food and drinks to be delivered to the home if you are flying in to Ft. Myers. There is limited groceries and food service on the island. We have a great outdoor shower downstairs. If you are a pilot, we are members of the runway on the island and can arrange for you to fly here. The airstrip is private, and prior approval is required for anyone using the runway. It is a short 1,800 foot grass strip. Please message me for additional details.
