Beautifully situated on The Wild Atlantic Way, convenient to exploring Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara and within 5 minute drive to the pretty town of Kenmare. Bayview Lodge is on an elevated site with spectacular uninterrupted views over Kenmare Bay and the Kerry Mountain range known as The McGillycuddyReeks. These amazing views can be enjoyed from the large balcony and from almost every room. The Apt is on a stunning country lane, perfect for walking and nature lovers. The space The apt was designed by an Interior Deisgner, and is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out and furnished. The main Living Area is very large, and leads onto patio with glass balcony through which you can observe the view and ever changing scenery from the comfort of the velvet sofa. There is a wood burning stove for lazy days and adds a lovely ambience to the room and a large Smart TV with a great choice of channels, including Sky Sports. Netflix, Spotify etc. The Wifi is excellent with a great signal. There is a beautiful walnut floor and bespoke lighting and a lovely mix of old, with the Liscannor Stone Fireplace and new with a very well equipped kitchen area, with everything you could ever need. All Dinnerwear, Glasswear and cooking essentials are of a very high quality and I leave an array of cooking aids (oils, spices, pasta etc). Guests enjoy being able to prepare and cook meals, while staring ahead at the Bay and Mountains beyond kitchen island. The apt has central heating throughout also. The Patio has Dining Furniture, Sun Umbrella and a lovely bench. It is South West facing and sun stays there all day and you can watch the sun setting there in the eveningtime. It is very sheltered with the glass balcony. The main Bedroom with ensuite also has direct access to patio but you can also have a lie-on and watch the ever changing scenery from the Sleigh Bed if you wish. The ensuite has a roll topped bath and a chandelier with candles which is very relaxing with a glass of wine as you look through to views, even from the bath. The second Bedroom is at the front of the apt with a low lying stream running alongside it. It is right beside the 2nd Bathroom with shower etc. There are beautiful mature trees all along the perimeter and another lovely mountain range to the front of property as well. The Gaelic name for Kenmare is Little Nest, as it is nestled between 2 Mountain Ranges and very cucooned and exotic, because it is also on The Gulf Stream. The town itself has bespoke cafes, restaurants and pubs, with an array of great Supermarkets with fresh local produce. There is Live Music somewhere almost every night and many events and festivals throughout the year. You will never be bored here...whether your interests are in walking, hiking, cycling, sailing, watersports, bird watching, beachcoming, or for the less active, who just want a pint of good Guinness, with some good grub and a bit of fun. Kenmare has it all. Guest access Guests can park up to 2 cars to the left hand side of Front Door. Enter apt through the stone porch with blue front door, where there is a large hall with facilities for hanging up coat, shoes, etc. To the left of the hall is the door to apt, details of which are in photes and description. There is automatic security lighting in front garden, and this garden can be enjoyed by Guests.
