An authentic ranch home with pool surrounded by old growth fruit orchard, meadows and nature with endless views of Anderson Valley from a wraparound porch. The original house was built in the early 1900's but it has been updated! It is a cozy, one level cabin style. Nothing fancy but very charming. A great place to get away or a base for nearby wine tasting and sightseeing. Hiking trails and logging roads surround this cozy cabin style home. The space This ranch home has been in our family since 1978. My dad who was in the film and television industry in Southern California purchased the property as a get-away home. Since then, it has enjoyed a history of renovations and improvements. Now the property is in the hands of myself and my wife and son. It is a constant labor of love and, although it is set up for guests, each hand milled piece of construction is personal. A wood stove (with central heat back-up) make it a cozy space on a chilly evening. There are two other full time residents on the property but it is definitely large enough, at 103 total acres, that you will feel just alone enough. There are abundant hiking trails and logging roads to enjoy for a picnic hike or an all day excursion. Other things to note If you are a group larger than 4, we also have an additional guest house.
