Ready to get away from it all? Enjoy a peaceful stay at our farm just 20 minutes North of I-44 near Rolla, MO. In addition to a relaxing at the cozy, newly remodeled Serenity Cabin, you'll also have access to 200+ acres and 5 miles of trails. Explore paths and roads that wind through forests and fields and along creeks and springs, glimpsing a variety of wildlife and views along the way. You'll feel like you're in your own private park. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat! The space Serenity Cabin is a bachelor pad turned gift shop turned Airbnb! It has just been remodeled, and we'd like to invite you to come visit us at the farm. Little Springs Farm was once a cattle operation but is now managed mainly for the benefit of wildlife. It's a beautiful place to find a little peace and quiet and roam the woods, fields, creek beds, and trails. The cabin itself is small (about 400 square feet) and cozy, with just enough space for a couple to enjoy a romantic getaway or an individual to enjoy a quiet retreat. We live on the property, just across the driveway from Serenity Cabin, so you'll be well taken care of while you're here. Please note, as a small cabin, Serenity Cabin does not have a full kitchen. Instead, the kitchenette is outfitted with a microwave/airfryer/oven combo and a single burner induction cooktop. There isn't room to create elaborate meals, but plenty of capacity for whipping up something delicious to eat or drink. Heat and air conditioning are provided via wall-mounted electric heaters in each room, an electric fireplace in the living room, and a window air conditioning unit. Feel free to adjust each for optimal comfort and personal preference. The bathroom features a rain shower head in a nice shower stall - no bathtub. Well-behaved pets are welcome! We do have chickens, so please be sure any dogs are leashed or poultry-friendly. We are also cognizant of their impact on wildlife. For this reason, we ask that you ensure your pets do not harass any surrounding livestock or wildlife. Guest access You'll have the entire cabin to yourself. We live on the property, so you may see us come and go from time to time. As far as the farm and trails, you'll have those to yourself, unless one of us or the neighbors happen to be passing through. With regards to accessibility, there is a single step up from the ground onto the cabin porch and another single step into the cabin itself. Other things to note There's even a duck aviary in your back yard! Our three ducks enjoy regular splashes in their spring-fed pool, and if you open the bathroom window, you can hear them "talking" to one another. Feel free to pull up a chair and sit outside to watch them or ask Scott for a visit inside the aviary. The farm is also a haven for all types of birds. We regularly see three to four varieties of woodpeckers, including the awesome Pileated Woodpecker, several varieties of owls, countless songbird varieties, the occasional Bald Eagle or Blue Heron, and even hear a whippoorwill now and then in the Summer. It's an excellent place for birdwatching.
