Squires Escape

Squires Escape is a cozy Airbnb ideal for a couples getaway providing a serene space to unwind. Enjoy the close proximity to the shore in this modern and tranquil setting. We are located only an hour and a half from Sydney. Enjoy the wonderful beaches, cafes', restaurants and breweries our beautiful area has to offer. Squires Escape is a great location close to the popular Headlands Hotel and Imperial Hotel which is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay for functions. The space Features include; One Bedroom with a Queen Bed; TV; Lounge Area; Bathroom; Kitchenette; BBQ, Laundry and Wi Fi. Linen and Bath Towels included. While we don’t offer a full kitchen the kitchenette has a microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster, sandwich maker. We provide the basic kitchen supplies tea, coffee, condiments etc.. We are only a 5 min stroll to local cafe’s; Earth Walker & Co, Saltie Dog Cafe, Coledale RSL, Live Music, Beauty Salon, Hairdresser, Coledale Fine Wines Bottle Shop. The Scarborough Wombarra Bowlo is only a 15 min walk and has a wonderful ocean view. The Black Duck Bistro known for their delicious Thai but also do burgers, fish and chips etc. and often live music. The popular Headlands Hotel is only a 3 min drive or a 20 min stroll along the beachfront. Newly renovated “Imperial Hotel” is a 5 min drive. Both of these venues provide a courtesy bus that passes right by our door. “Squires Escape” is close to beautiful walking tracks with views of the ocean, escarpment and also the famous “Seacliffe Bridge” for the avid walkers. There are ocean pools at Coledale, Austinmer and Wombara to name a few. Coledale is a patrolled beach during summer after 10am. For the bike riders, there is a bike track that goes all the way to Wollongong which is a fun thing to do with plenty of good spots to stop for a meal or a beverage. Enjoy the beautiful gift shops, boutiques, restaurants and the unique “Anita's Theatre” offering some great shows during the year all only a 5 min drive away. There is also a bus service that runs at the bottom of our street which goes into Wollongong. Coledale train station is also very close by. As this is the lower floor of our home, we kindly ask for consideration regarding noise and we will endeavour to do the same upstairs.
